This editable powerpoint lesson teaches students about biological pedigree charts. Students will learn how to read them, how to identify dominant vs recessive pedigrees, autosomal vs sex-linked pedigrees, and determine genotypes of individuals.

In this lesson I have students practice drawing pedigree charts on whiteboards. If you don't have mini whiteboards you can use chalk markers on your lab tables or simply use paper instead.
